An 18-hole par 72 with no grass anywhere on it. The "greens" are oiled sand scrapes raked smooth, the fairways are white gibber, and players carry a small piece of turf to tee off from. Green fee $35, clubs $10. Club play is Sunday — register at noon for a 12:30pm tee off; at any other time, call in to Opalios on Hutchison Street to arrange a round. Golfers have been known to find opal on the way round.
